How do I get to River Run?

River Run is in the Berkshire hills of western Massachusetts. We'll send the exact address and door-to-door directions when you book. Rough travel options:

  • By air: Bradley/Hartford (BDL) is closest, about 1 hr. Albany International (ALB) 1 hr 15 min.

  • By train from NYC: Amtrak to Hudson (2 hrs), then 1hr 30min drive or pick up can be arranged to River Run. Amtrak to Northampton (4 hrs), then 30 min drive or pick up.

  • By car: Boston 2hr 30 min and NYC is roughly 3hrs 30 min by car.

If arriving by car, we have parking for up to 10 cars at River Run.


What are the rooms like?

River Run sleeps up to 11 people across 5 bedrooms with 3 shared bathrooms: three queen bedrooms, one room with a king or two twins (and also a queen sofa bed), and the 5th bedroom is an enclosed sleeping porch with a queen sofa bed.

Want a private bathroom? We can arrange a room at a nearby country inns or vacation rentals for an added fee.


Can I come with a group and take the whole house?

Absolutely — you can book the property for your own group. Larger than 8? We'll reserve additional nearby accommodation.


WHAT FOOD AND DRINK IS INCLUDED?

All of it: welcome cocktail party and BBQ, buffet breakfasts, courtside lunches, a second-night dinner out, plus snacks and beverages throughout.


HOW MUCH TENNIS AND AT WHAT LEVEL?

2–4 hours a day, Friday through Sunday — group lessons, round robins, and match play with our pros, with a max of 5 players per group session so everyone gets real court time. All levels welcome. Private lessons with Raphael can be added for a fee.


WHAT IF I DON’T WANT TO PLAY EVERY SESSION?

Perfect — yoga, hiking, biking, and swimming are scheduled across the weekend with Mikaela, shaped around your group. Cultural outings (MASS MoCA, Hancock Shaker Village, The Mount) can be arranged too.
